Application and importance of using grease
Many driving forces cannot be used without the use of grease. Although grease is less consumed than other lubricants, its place cannot be replaced by other materials. Its main practical advantages can be summarized as follows:
- The number of lubrication times of grease is less compared to oil, which reduces the cost of maintenance and repairs. This is an advantage for applications where access to machinery is difficult, such as motors mounted on roofs, drive lines, inaccessible bearings, and the like.
- Grease acts as a sealing barrier for the entry of dust or the exit of some materials from machines.
- If the machinery is properly greased, its parts will not fall apart and separate due to operation. Grease does not leak, and for this reason, it is important in terms of workshop maintenance and less pollution.
- The sealing of parts and the use of felt bowls and the like are done at a lower cost. The oil sealing felt bowl has more friction with the parts and allocates more force for this purpose.
- If the grease is not even visible in the part, it will work longer compared to the lubricating oil. Some greases are made in such a way that they are sealed in the part and its lifespan is the same as the part.
- When the part is not used and the lubricant is removed, the possibility of rusting of the part that used grease is much less compared to oil.

😷🤢🚫 I cannot believe the amount of pollution being emitted from this grease manufacturing plant! The air quality in the surrounding community has deteriorated significantly since its opening. The fumes are nauseating and unbearable, causing health issues for many residents. This plant must take responsibility for its impact on the environment and find sustainable solutions to reduce its harmful emissions 🌿🌍. We cannot sacrifice our health and environment for industrial gain. The consequences are too severe. It’s time for change! #sustainability #healthfirst #environmentaldamage
